Sydney Elizabeth Scott
Assistant Professor of Marketing
Area of Expertise:
Consumer Behavior and Decision Making
Research Interests:
I study how consumers make judgments and decisions. I am interested in topics such as: morality and consumption, preferences for natural products (e.g., organic food, alternative medicines, non-GMO products), and health decision making. For example, my recent research has focused on when and how our moral beliefs reduce the appeal of certain products (e.g., GMO foods, medical treatments).
