Faculty | Jon Bogard | WashU Olin Business School
Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior
I am interested in human behavior--the causes and consequences of the judgments that people form and the decisions that they make. My research spans many domains of behavioral science, including: perceptions of risk and uncertainty, behavioral ethics, political decision-making, descriptive social norms, and behavioral interventions (i.e., nudges) to improve individual decisions.
I am both personally and professionally interested in Effective Altruism, including the ways that decision science may support EA causes.
Jon Bogard is interested in human judgment and decision making. Prior to earning his doctorate, Jon was a high school teacher and ran a training program for teachers and school leaders in New Orleans.
