Before joining Olin Business School, Kabir taught at the Johns Hopkins University where he taught and developed courses on Corporate Finance, Advanced Corporate Finance. He was a Principal at the Charles River Associates, Boston where he led financial risk management practice for CRA, Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Senior Strategist at the Cross Currency hedge fund of the Deutsche Bank, New York, among several others. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial risk management in the areas of credit, market, interest rate, and operational risk. Kabir has experience across various industries such as telecommunication, energy, exploration and production, and financial services. He regularly advices senior executives of many financial institutions on matters related to financial risk management.
