Senior financial/corporate executive with over forty-five years of success improving financial management and leading organizations. Broad-based industry experience, emphasis in retail, brick and mortar, e-commerce and direct marketing, manufacturing and services. Disciplined leader and manager, respected within organizations as a consensus builder, teacher/mentor, problem solver and strategist. Began career working for S.D. Leidesdorf & Co. (firm later merged with Ernst & Young) serving diversified client base – two years on audit staff followed by three years in tax department, left CPA firm to work for Edison Brothers Stores, Inc. -- $1.5 billion NYSE-listed client. After leaving Edison Brothers, I have served successfully as CFO of five companies (two public, three private). Retired from SmartPak in 2015 (see below) after fulfilling promise to CEO to see the company through a liquidity event -- successful sale to strategic buyer at 3x return for private equity investor (10x for remaining angels and friends and family). Currently serving as CFO on a consulting basis for Boyce Technologies, Inc. in New York City.
