Solving Real-World Problems
Get the right answers to the right questions with CABI consulting teams.
CABI consulting engagements provide business leaders with actionable insights and implementable solutions to problems facing their organizations. These experiential learning projects enable and empower Olin’s brightest student leaders to solve complex problems under the guidance of Olin faculty.
In partnership with Olin’s Center for Experiential Learning and the Master of Science in Business Analytics degree program, we collaborate with corporate executives to solve real-world business problems. During 15-week consulting engagements, companies directly sample the talents of our students, the business analytics experts of the future, who learn how to blend cutting-edge business strategy with state-of-the-art analytics technology. Through this experience, business partners bring experiential learning projects to the classroom and potentially identify future interns or full-time hires.
Olin faculty and students successfully complete nearly a dozen consulting projects during each academic year, producing numerous case studies, each solving unique business challenges through the creative application of advanced analytics. Projects have included delivering a segmentation strategy for a retail supply company based on five years’ worth of sales data and analyzing millions of shopping records from a company’s e-commerce site and recommending strategies to improve the platform for customers.
These consulting engagements span a wide range of industries and solve a variety of complex business problems. Case studies are available upon request.
