Why she enrolled in the program
As Trista gained more experience in information technology, her role began to evolve. Her talent in managing complex global projects meant she soon began having conversations “at a much higher level within the company.”
“I felt like I was missing some academic background to really increase my confidence and validate some of the intuition I had. I didn't have the operational, supply chain, or corporate finance knowledge that now I have, and I can apply because it is all connected.”
Trista considered an Executive MBA, but was hesitant about the time commitment the program would require.
“I had a friend who told me, ‘Well, you know, May 2017 is going to come whether you do the program or you don't. So you might as well do it and be able to say you did it.’”
Making lifelong connections

“I know that this is a network of people that I can rely on in the future for something, whether it be professional or personal.
“I was just so impressed by the caliber of the people that are in the administration that were helping to coordinate and provide all of the information as well as the people that were pursuing it and interested in it like me.
