Research Interests:
My dissertation research seeks to understand how individuals engage in a process that I call group relational accounting, which is a mental accounting system that governs the process of social exchange. I explore how this process influences important behaviors at the individual and group levels, such as negotiation, vicarious retribution, hate crime, union certification, and collective action (e.g., strike, protest, and social movement). In another stream of research, I investigate antecedents of meaningful work (calling).
