A Wide Range of Majors in Business

As an undergraduate pursuing your BSBA degree, you can choose from eight different business majors:
  • Accounting
  • Economics and Strategy
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Finance
  • Healthcare Management
  • Leadership and Strategic Management
  • Marketing
  • Operations and Supply Chain Management

In addition, to these majors in business, you can minor in International Business, the Business of Social Impact, the Business of Sports, or the Business of Entertainment.

You declare your business major (or majors) during your sophomore year. Then you tailor your academic portfolio to your career interests and objectives.

Or, you can combine majors in business with a second major or minor from one of the university’s other schools, such as the College of Arts & Sciences, or Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. For example, you can study Financial Engineering as a second major with the School of Engineering & Applied Science.

That's a lot of possible majors for business students. With careful planning, you can create a program of study that marches to the beat of your own drum.

BSBA degree and business major requirements vary by graduation year:
