​MBA Tuition, Financial Aid and Scholarships

Full-Time MBA Tuition & Fee Costs (2023-24 Academic Year)

Tuition — $132,400.00*
Fall 2023 Program Fee — $3,750 (estimated $750 per semester)
Student Government Fee — $650.00 (estimated at $130 per semester)

Global Immersion Expenses — $1,250 (estimated between $1,000 and $1,500)
Olin will cover the cost of flights booked through the program, lodging and some meals. Costs covered by student during the Global Immersion may include:

  • Some weekend lunches, most dinners
  • Souvenir and personal tourists or experience costs
  • SIM card or international phone plan
  • Visa application

*Assumes graduation by May 2025. Program cost is represented by $33,100 per semester for AY 2023-24. Tuition estimated at $35,086 for AY 2024-25. Final AY 2024-25 costs will not be published until spring 2024.

Health Insurance Requirement

Washington University has a health insurance requirement for all full-time, degree-seeking students. Under this requirement, students must either purchase the Washington University Student Health Insurance Plan or prove they have adequate coverage through another plan. If you do not demonstrate that you have adequate coverage from another plan, you will be automatically enrolled in the Washington University Student plan and billed accordingly. The cost of the Washington University Health Insurance Plan will be published once the rates are finalized. For planning purposes, the historical cost for a 12-month student policy has been around $2,000. Additional information can be found at the Student Health Services website.

Full-Time MBA Scholarships

Candidates admitted to WashU Olin are automatically considered for scholarship opportunities—and for most, a separate application isn’t required. The following are awarded based on verified personal information. We’ll notify you of your award at the time of admission.

Alumni Scholarship

Alumni of Washington University may receive scholarships to help finance their enrollment in Olin Business School programs.

Nonprofit Scholarship

Those employed at a nonprofit 501©3 company and displaying nonprofit leadership skills may qualify for our Nonprofit Scholarship program.

Some scholarships require additional application materials. Your recruiter will advise you of the process, requirements and deadlines.

Consortium for Graduate Study Management (CGSM) MBA Fellowships

The CGSM is an organization comprising university and corporate partners that promote diversity in graduate management programs and US business. Founded by Olin, the CGSM provides full-tuition fellowships for MBA study at one of the 19 participating schools. Visit cgsm.org to apply and for more information.

McDonnell International Scholars Academy

The McDonnell International Scholars Academy awards full-tuition scholarships to international students who have graduated from specific universities outside the United States. These full MBA scholarship awards include an annual stipend of $28,000. Go to mcdonnell.wustl.edu to determine eligibility or apply.

Forté Foundation

The Forté Foundation is a consortium of business schools, corporations and nonprofit organizations that work to increase women’s participation in business schools and management. All students who represent diverse backgrounds, seek a global outlook and demonstrate a commitment to advancing the interest of women in business are considered for Forté awards. Entrepreneurship Fellowship

The Entrepreneurship Fellowship is awarded to Full-Time MBA students looking to influence business and society in areas such as sustainability and social responsibility. Fellows receive full tuition remission, networking opportunities, one-on-one mentorship, housing within the Lewis Collaborative and more. US Military Veterans

Olin is proud to be a full participant in the Post-9/11 GI Bill’s Yellow Ribbon Program. The US Department of Veterans Affairs determines candidates’ eligibility for this benefit.

Reaching Out LGBTQ+ MBA Fellowship

This fellowship was created as a joint effort between top business schools and Reaching Out to develop LGBTQ+ and active ally business leaders of tomorrow. Each fellowship recipient receives a scholarship of $10,000 or more per academic year and access to an exclusive mentor and leadership development program administrated by Reaching Out. The Milford and Leona Bohm Scholarship

This scholarship is available only to graduates of The Technion (the Israeli Institute of Technology) in Haifa, Israel. To apply, enclose a cover letter with your Olin application that verifies your eligibility.
