​MBA Tuition, Financial Aid and Scholarships

Full-Time MBA Tuition & Fee Costs (2022-2023 Academic Year)

Tuition — $128,500.00*
Fall 2022 Program Fee — $3,750 (estimated $750 per semester)
Student Government Fee — $520.00 (estimated at $130 per semester)

Global Immersion Expenses — $1,250 (estimated between $1,000-$1,500)
Olin will cover the cost of flights booked through the program, lodging and some meals. Costs covered by student during the Global Immersion may include:

  • Some weekend lunches, most dinners
  • Souvenir and personal tourists or experience costs
  • Sim card or international phone plan
  • Visa application

*Assumes graduation by May 2024. Program cost is represented by $32,125 per semester for AY 22-23. Tuition estimated at $34,062.50 for AY 23-24. Final AY 23-24 costs will not be published until late spring 2023.

Health Insurance Requirement

Washington University has a health insurance requirement for all full-time, degree-seeking students. Under this requirement, students must either purchase the Washington University Student Health Insurance Plan or prove they have adequate coverage through another plan. If you do not demonstrate that you have adequate coverage from another plan, you will be automatically enrolled in the Washington University Student plan and billed accordingly. The cost of the Washington University Health Insurance Plan will be published once the rates are finalized. For planning purposes, the historical cost for a 12-month student policy has been around $2,000. Additional information can be found at the Student Health Services website.

Full-Time MBA Scholarships

All candidates admitted to Olin are automatically considered for our limited merit-based scholarship opportunities — a separate application is not required. Our Admissions Committee will review your application to determine eligibility and notify you at the time of admission.

Consortium for Graduate Study Management (CGSM) MBA Fellowships

The CGSM is an organization comprising university and corporate partners that promote diversity in graduate management programs and US business. Founded by Olin, the CGSM provides full-tuition fellowships for MBA study at one of the 19 participating schools. Applicants for this full MBA scholarship should apply using the CGSM application. McDonnell International Scholars Academy

The McDonnell International Scholars Academy awards full-tuition scholarships to international students who have graduated from specific universities outside the United States. These full MBA scholarship awards include an annual stipend of $28,000. The Academy has a separate application for this award. Go to https://mcdonnell.wustl.edu/ to determine eligibility or apply.

Forté Foundation

The Forté Foundation is a consortium of business schools, corporations and nonprofit organizations that work to increase women’s participation in business schools and management. All students who exhibit Values Based, Data Driven leadership, represent diverse backgrounds, seek a global outlook and demonstrate a commitment to advancing the interest of women in business are considered for Forté awards. Entrepreneurship Fellowship

Developing an entrepreneurial spirit is a pillar of the student experience at WashU Olin. The Entrepreneurship Fellowship is awarded to Full-Time MBA students who are looking to influence business and society in areas globally such as equity, diversity and inclusion; sustainability; and social responsibility. Fellows receive full tuition remission, networking opportunities, one-on-one mentorship, housing within the Lewis Collaborative and more. US Military Veterans

We are pleased to offer Olin Veterans Association Fellowships for those who have served in the US Armed Forces. In addition, Olin is proud to be a full participant in the Post-9/11 GI Bill’s Yellow Ribbon Program. The US Department of Veterans Affairs determines candidates’ eligibility for this benefit.

Reaching Out Fellowship

The Reaching Out LGBT+ MBA Fellowship was created as a joint effort between top business schools and Reaching Out to develop the out LGBT+ and active ally business leaders of tomorrow. Each fellowship recipient will receive a minimum scholarship of $10,000 per academic year and access to an exclusive mentor and leadership development program administrated by Reaching Out. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer T. Olin Fellowship for Women

The Mr. and Mrs. Spencer T. Olin Fellowship for Women is an award administered by Washington University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. It grants full-tuition scholarships for graduate study. The Milford and Leona Bohm Scholarship

The Milford and Leona Bohm Scholarship is available only to graduates of The Technion (the Israeli Institute of Technology) in Haifa, Israel. Enclose a cover letter with your Olin application that verifies your eligibility for this scholarship.
