Inclusive support

Olin is a founding member of The Consortium, an organization dedicated to enhancing diversity and inclusion in global business education and leadership. As your career journey partner, we’ll provide you with resources geared to you—things like professional organizations, affinity resources and development opportunities. And we’ll connect you with employee resource groups when available so you can access great content and build your network.

Women

Olin is a member of the Forté Foundation, whose mission is to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development and a community of successful women. WCC resources for women include professional organizations, job sites tailored to women, women-focused content and WashU organizations.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBTQIA)

Olin is a member of Reaching Out MBA, whose mission is to increase influence of the LGBT+ community in business. The center also has relationships with the Human Rights Campaign (Corporate Equality Index), LGBT CareerLink, Pride at Work and Olin Branch Out – A Queer Straight Alliance. Each year, the WCC partners with the WUSTL LGBT Student Involvement and Leadership office to provide a variety of programming.

Students with disabilities

The WCC provides accommodations for any student seeking assistance during a career coaching appointment or an on-campus interview or recruiting event in accordance with the WUSTL Disability Resources policy. Coaching with our certified career coaches who are knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of this population is available.

Veterans

Military veterans bring exceptional credentials, talents and attributes to the table, but communicating them in civilian business language can be a challenge. Our career coaches partner with you to translate your military experience and skills into civilian terminology so you can effectively communicate your value proposition. We also partner with the Olin Veteran Association to sponsor events dedicated to connecting WashU and Olin alums with incoming veterans for mentoring, professional development and networking. International

The Weston Career Center has many years of experience working with international students as they navigate their career journey. Even before you’re on campus, you’ll start to think about your future career and engage with your dedicated coach. We offer a vast array of services and tools to help you understand your career options, clarify your specific goals and secure a position after graduation.
