Steve Malter, PhD is a Senior Lecturer in Management at Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. Steve has 23 years of experience in higher education with 18 years being at the Olin School where he served in various capacities including Senior Associate Dean and Director of Undergraduate Programs and Senior Associate Dean of Experiential Learning and Strategic Programs prior to joining the faculty full-time. He has led the development of more than 10 courses in the areas of management, academic and career development, entrepreneurship and international business. Steve holds a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and an Med (Student Personnel in Higher Education) and BA (Criminal Justice and Law) from the University of Florida. Steve teaches courses in Management Communications, Israeli innovation and entrepreneurship, Consulting for global start-ups, higher education and courses that look at the intersection of business and politics.
