Steve Malter, PhD is a Professor of Practice of Management at Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. Steve has been in higher education since 1995 and has been a part of Olin Business School since 2004, where he served in various capacities including Senior Associate Dean and Director of Undergraduate Programs and Senior Associate Dean of Experiential Learning and Strategic Programs prior to joining the faculty full-time. He has led the development of more than 10 courses in the areas of management, academic and career development, entrepreneurship and international business. Steve holds a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and an Med (Student Personnel in Higher Education) and BA (Criminal Justice and Law) from the University of Florida. Steve teaches courses in Management Communications, Israeli innovation and entrepreneurship, Consulting for global start-ups, higher education and courses that look at the intersection of business and politics.
