Timothy Solberg
Chief Investment Officer of two mutual fund companies: The CNI Charter Funds, advised by City National Asset Management, City National Bank of Beverly Hills, CA (2005-2013), where he was Senior Vice President and Director & Assistant Secretary of the mutual fund Board. Also Chief Investment Officer of The American Hospital Association sponsored AHA Investment Funds, Chicago, advised by Hewitt Associates (1992-2000), where Solberg headed the Hospital Consulting Practice and founded the Healthcare Treasury Roundtable. Professor Solberg is a senior consultant to boards of trustees of endowments, foundations and retirement plans.
Solberg is a classically trained musician who has taught arts management courses at Columbia College of Chicago and Washington University in St. Louis with Olin Business School in conjunction with the Fox School of Design, Fashion, Film & Media Studies and Performing Arts.
Solberg has a career long interest in banking and has worked for three major banks: City National Bank in LA; Wells Fargo Bank in the Chicago Corporate Banking office; and Mellon Bank in the Asia Pacific and Energy Groups as a Corporate Credit Analysis. He is a member of the International Monetary Fund advisory group The Bretton Woods Committee. Solberg also is a member of the World Bank Civil Society Organization through his volunteer board membership work for Project Medishare for Haiti.

1. As a member of International Monetary Fund advisory group The Bretton Woods Committee, pursue interests in central bank activity and monetary policy role.
2. Member of World Bank Civil Social Forum, active in developing country health care through board membership in the field with Project Medishare for Haiti and previously with HEED Bangladesh. The finance practicum research consulting project developing a business plan for the hospital won the TIAA Difference Maker 100 Award from TIAA in fall semester 2018.
