Maarten Meeuwis joined the Olin Business School in July 2020 after receiving a PhD in Financial Economics from MIT Sloan. He holds a BSc and MSc in Econometrics and Quantitative Finance from Tilburg University and an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge. His research interests include asset pricing, household finance, and macroeconomics. In recent work he uses large individual-level datasets to study household saving and investment decisions and to test theories of financial markets.
