Study entrepreneurship at the Israel Summer Business Academy

Israel Summer Business Academy (ISBA)

Enroll now for ISBA: June 7-July 19, 2018

“I came to ISBA knowing little about venture capital or entrepreneurship, and I walked away feeling like an expert.” — Noah, University of Michigan

IBSA overview A collaboration between Olin and the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel, ISBA launched in the summer of 2014. The academy is designed for students of all faiths, beliefs, and academic backgrounds who want to learn about Israeli business firsthand – and immerse themselves in the country’s entrepreneurial environment.

Israel is a nation that encourages start-ups.

Israel has more start-ups per capita than any other country in the world, with 65 percent of the companies still in business after five years. Israel – with a population of about 8 million – is No. 3 on the list of countries with the most companies on NASDAQ, behind only the United States and China.

You must have a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for ISBA, but previous business course work in or knowledge of Israel isn’t a requirement. Apply online for ISBA.

This summer, ISBA students may opt to pursue a special track on the intersection of business and engineering, offered in collaboration with IDC’s Zvi Meitar Institute for Legal Implications of Emerging Technologies.
