April 22 is officially Earth Day, but here at WashU we have activities that span 10 days.

Whatever your interests, there is something for everyone during Earth Week: Get your hands dirty volunteering at a local farm, enjoy a Green Monday meal, talk politics, socialize during Happy Hour, or learn about how to get involved year-round through a student group or university program. To view more information and a full list of events, you can visit the Office of Sustainability calendar or join the Facebook event.

On Saturday, April 22, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Olin presents an opportunity to learn more about investing in an environmentally responsible way. Attend the “Environmentally Responsible Investing” presentation by Dan Conner (MBA ’12) and Jake Barnett with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as they discuss market space, new ideas for investments, and the challenges and opportunities of these kinds of investments.

Presentation will be in Emerson Auditorium, Knight Hall. A reception in the Frick Forum immediately follows the presentation.

My nickname around the office is "Scoops" because I always have the latest news from the halls of Simon, Starbucks, or the STL startup scene. Thanks to staff and student bloggers, I'm not alone in reporting on the Olin community here on the Blog. Don't be shy, post a comment or send us your story. New bloggers always welcome!
