WashU alumni looking for that next foothold on their career climb have the chance to expand their business knowledge set, thanks to special incentives to pursue a higher degree at Olin Business School.

Any WashU alum is eligible for the following benefits in the application process for a Specialized Master’s Program (SMP) or Full-Time MBA:

  • A streamlined application process, requiring no application fee or GMAT/GRE
  • Automatic consideration for an Alumni Scholarship.
Pursue an Olin SMP to level up your skills in the areas of accounting, supply chain, wealth and asset management, finance and/or business analytics, including STEM options. Or take advantage of our Full-Time MBA program, which offers a unique global perspective, a STEM option and a highly ranked entrepreneurial emphasis.

Both programs are supported by WashU Olin’s exceptional career coaching, to help make the most of the master’s experience.

An advanced degree from Olin can make a career-boosting difference, alumni said.

Marissa-Friedman-headshot1.jpgMarissa Friedman, BSBA 2022, MSFTA 2022, began her specialized master's program in business analytics at the beginning of what would have been the final year of her BSBA at Olin. She’s now an associate solutions consultant at Adobe.

The program provided me with deep technical skills that built on my strategy focus during undergrad and have served me immensely since. Overall, the program was a great opportunity to become more involved in the WashU community and had a very positive impact on the start of my professional career.

Cheyenne-Martins-headshot.jpgCheyenne Martins, MBA 2016, pursued an MBA at Olin directly after earning her bachelor’s degree in chemistry elsewhere. Now senior director for forecasting & strategic projects as part of the  financial planning & analysis team at national retailer Ross Stores Inc., Martins said her leadership position wouldn’t have been possible without that MBA experience.

When I went to Olin, I learned so much about teamwork. I learned what drives people, what motivates people. And how do you tap into that to better yourself and better them?

—Cheyenne Martins
