WashU Olin alumni now have a new career enhancement benefit, courtesy of Olin’s partnership with BlueSteps, the executive career service of the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants.

Through this partnership, BlueSteps provides Olin alumni with exclusive free member benefits, including virtual workshops and webinars on career development topics that include negotiation, strategy and reputation management. Members with Olin access can upload a career profile that is searchable by global executive recruiters.

BlueSteps also offers Olin alums a 30% discount that unlocks access to premium services, including curated open searches for executive jobs and board openings and a filterable directory of more than 16,000 trusted executive recruiters around the world.

Blue Steps allows our alums to connect directly with executive recruiters globally as well as get valuable expert guidance from their excellent webinars, guides and other resources.

Scott Walker, a former Scotland Yard detective and experienced kidnap-for-ransom negotiator. Walker authored the book Order out of Chaos: How to Become a World-Class Communicator and Win Every Negotiation, about how the techniques he uses in life-or-death negotiations can assist professionals in their daily lives.

His BlueSteps webinar will air September 10, 2024, from 11 a.m. to noon Central.
