A WashU Olin MBA who leads a nonprofit online pharmacy is among three women with Olin ties who were named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2024 list of the region’s most influential business women.

The list of 25 accomplished female leaders includes Julie Erickson, MBA 2009, who is CEO and president of Rx Outreach. Erickson was cited by the Business Journal for increasing service to 3,500 people and growing revenue by 54% since 2021.

Prior to her role at Rx Outreach, Erickson served as executive director of the Center for Hearing & Speech.

Also highlighted in the 2024 list is SiSi Beltrán Martí, BSBA 2004, who is vice president and executive director of the Build-A-Bear Foundation and Cause Marketing, the philanthropic arm of the global stuffed animal retailer. Beltrán Martí has worked at Build-a-Bear for her entire career, including heading up the company’s international marketing.

Christie Brinkman, who is director of Castle Contracting’s design-build practice, also made the 2024 list. Brinkman, who has been with Castle nearly six years, also serves as district council chair of Urban Land Institute St. Louis. She completed Olin’s Women’s Leadership Program in Fall 2020.
