Heath Rutledge-Jukes, a second-year medical student at WashU School of Medicine, has been named to Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30” list for education.

Rutledge-Jukes and two other co-founders were recognized for King of the Curve, a gamified learning platform to help students take high-stakes tests such as the MCAT.

Rutledge-Jukes previously completed the Innovation Pathway, a WashU Medicine course co-taught by an Olin professor. The course introduces medical students to career pathways in healthcare innovation.

His startup was the recipient of Holekamp Seed Fund grant in 2023.

Rutledge-Jukes founded the company in 2020 with his two former classmates from Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, Florida. According to Forbes, the trio has raised more than $1 million, with Kapor Capital in Oakland, California, as the primary investor.
