Brittany Lewis
Brittany Almquist Lewis joined the Olin Business School as an Assistant Professor of Finance in July 2022. She also holds an appointment as a Visiting Scholar at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management Guthrie Center for Real Estate Research. Her work is published in the Journal of Financial Economics, a leading finance journal.
Professor Lewis received her PhD and MS degrees in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She also holds a BA in Finance and Information Systems from Boston College. Prior to joining Olin, Professor Lewis held research appointments at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
She is currently teaching Research Methods in Finance in Olin's Master of Science in Finance program.

Research Interests
Professor Lewis’ research interests lie in financial intermediation and household finance. In recent research she has studied the unintended consequences of financial regulation on bank and non-bank lending.
