Grant Clayton is a Lecturer in finance with broad teaching interests, including corporate finance, investments, and fintech. He also conducts research in the area of empirical corporate finance.

His recent working papers include a study of capital structure and pricing restraints, called resale price maintenance (RPM), in the retail industry.

He received his PhD in finance from Northwestern University in 2018. Prior to pursuing academia, he worked in litigation consulting and corporate valuation in the private sector. His industry experience focused on oil & gas, power, and mining.
