Co-Curricular Opportunities
Learning goes beyond the classroom.
Our classes, student clubs and co-curricular activities allow you to explore new career options. By taking part in these activities, you'll gain additional on-the-job experience, valuable mentors and networking contacts.
Take advantage of experiential opportunities that put classroom learning into practice. Through elective courses offered by Olin’s Center for Experiential Learning, you’ll work on real business challenges in consulting projects with Olin’s network of Fortune 500 corporations, nonprofit organizations and startup companies.
If you’re interested in innovation and seeing new business ideas become reality, the Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurial Studies is for you. Volunteer for extracurricular activities such as the Olin Cup business plan competition and IdeaBounce®. Many WashU students and faculty participate in the Arch Grants business plan competition. A startup can receive $50,000 in grants while retaining 100 percent equity in its business.
