Founded in 2000, Singapore Management University (SMU) was the first private university in the city-state of Singapore to offer undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in business management; and is one of the youngest universities in the world to have earned a double AACSB accreditation for its business and accounting programs.

Its Lee Kong Chian School of Business has received the prestigious European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation.

With a rigorous, high-impact curriculum that addresses Asian issues and global relevance, the Lee Kong Chian School of Business has partnered with Olin Business School to offer a graduate-level Global Master of Science in Finance program. Additionally, SMU partners with Olin to offer semester-long international internship programs to undergraduate students.
