Fudan University


Located in one of the world’s largest finance hubs, Fudan University in Shanghai provides students with a rich learning atmosphere. 

Founded in 1905, Fudan University was the first institution of higher education founded by a Chinese person. Its main campus—one of four—is found northeast of the downtown core of Shanghai. Known for its spirit of patriotism, solidarity, service and sacrifice, the school has a time-honored tradition of academic independence and free exploration. In 1985, the School of Management at Fudan University (FDSM) was reestablished to deliver excellence in teaching and research competencies. 

Partnership History


The School of Managementat Fudan University was a pioneer in the country’s management education, establishing an MBA program in 1991. Now more than 8,000 of its graduates are leading China’s economic development and amplifying its financial strength. The Washington University-Fudan University Executive MBA program, China’s first joint venture in management education, was launched in 2002. The WashU-FudanExecutive MBA degree is recognized by China’s Ministry of Education.
