An Immersive Experience

Why Olin?

Olin’s commitment to fostering innovation and cultivating entrepreneurial skills stood out prominently during my research on business schools. The program’s high regard is not only reflected in academic rankings but also in the success stories of its alumni, who have gone on to make significant contributions to the business world.

Favorite Class

Professor Hardin’s “Power and Politics in Organizations” has been a dynamic blend of theory and real-world application. The engaging lectures and interactive discussions create an intellectually stimulating environment where every student’s perspective is valued. Professor Hardin’s passion for the subject, coupled with their ability to connect theoretical concepts with contemporary examples, has not only deepened my understanding of organizational power dynamics but also highlighted the practical relevance of the course.

Global Outlook

Olin Business School’s commitment to providing unique global opportunities was critical to my MBA experience. One standout experience involved traveling to Washington, DC, where we delved into the intersection of business and government. This immersive experience not only broadened my perspective on the symbiotic relationship between business and government but also showcased Olin’s dedication to offering impactful and real-world learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting.

Fun Fact

I partnered with Major League Soccer (the premier soccer league in the US) to facilitate the first African team to participate in the Generation Adidas Cup.

Advice for Prospective Students

Choose a school that aligns with your values and goals. Look beyond rankings and consider the unique opportunities and culture each institution offers. Remember, your education is not just about classes; it's about the experiences and connections that will shape your future.

WashU Olin’s emphasis on experiential learning, mentorship opportunities and a robust network of industry connections were pivotal factors in my decision to join its MBA program.
