Why Olin? 

Olin is highly ranked among US business schools and is known for its diverse culture and inclusive learning environment. I wanted to be challenged by rigorous courses taught by serious professors and hoped to meet like-minded classmates as well. 

Favorite Course 

My favorite course has been Deep Learning, taught by Professor Salih Tutun, an expert in understanding human behavior, social interactions and decision-making. The course taught me how to conduct image recognition, mine texts and better predict outcomes based on available data. 

Supportive Environment 

Students are very friendly and willing to help each other. We are each other’s happy learning partners and best supporters, and we will also help each other in life.

Career Resources 

At orientation, we had a career camp that provided us with timelines for applying for internships and full-time jobs. We also had a tutorial on using the resources. Every semester, a team is on hand to assist with job hunting. The school has done a good job in this department.  

Fun Fact

I play the piano and the ukulele.
