Q. Is the DBA program available online?

A. No, the DBA program at Olin Business School is in-person and on-campus.

Q. Is the DBA program available part-time?

A. The DBA in Finance program is full-time only. However, the DBA in Marketing and DBA in Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology allows for part or full-time enrollment.

Q. How long does the DBA program take to complete?

A. The DBA in Finance program takes three years and is only available full-time. The completion time for DBA in Marketing and DBA in Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology depends on enrollment status. It is four years for full-time and five to six years for part-time enrollment.

Q. Is the GRE or GMAT required?

A. A current GRE or GMAT score is required to apply for the DBA in Marketing or DBA in Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology. The DBA in Finance program requires a Master’s in Finance or other relevant master’s degree only.

Q. Is there a minimum GPA requirement?

A. No. The Review Committee considers the quantitative courses and performance from previous formal education.

Q. What is Olin's accreditation?

A. Olin Business School is accredited by the three most recognized business school accreditation organizations: AACSB International, AMBA, and EQUIS. As of August 2020, less than 1% of business schools in the world earned this honor.

Q. Is financial support available for the DBA program?

A. No, students enrolled in the DBA program are charged tuition based on the number of credits of enrollment per semester.
