Olin’s Business of Health curriculum is developed for professionals with a desire to advance the future of health and positively impact the well-being of society.
Through unique courses, experiential learning, relationships with faculty, and engagement with subject-matter experts, students master an array of subjects that are key to the health industry. From revenue and health policy to statistical analysis and product development, Olin students are prepared to lead as individuals and in health-related organizations.

A seminar course with weekly guest speakers who touch on the key elements of the health industry. Content covers providers, payors, patients, and innovators.

Strategic management course covering the breadth of complexity associated with managing healthcare delivery. Topics include workforce engagement, revenue cycle management, patient experience, managerial ethics, and regulatory requirements.

This course centers on statistical and analytical methods for processing health information, and it culminates in the authorship of a publication-worthy paper.

Health Insurance in America
A dedicated analysis of health insurance that covers insurance operations, marketing, and growth. Students take the perspective of a health insurance executive and consider the levers for optimizing business.

This flagship course, offered through the Center for Experiential Learning, allows students to engage with health-specific projects. Under faculty guidance, students work on real-world problems with external health clients.
