Advanced Management Certificate through WashU Olin
Cultivate strategic management expertise to help you realize new levels of success with Olin’s Advanced Management Certificate (AMC). Choose 15 units from our diverse selection of courses in leadership, strategic thinking and business execution—delivered by world-class WashU Olin faculty and other experts. Whatever direction you take your certificate, you gain an integrated view of business functions and how they work together:
- Develop a disciplined approach to strategic thinking and how it can impact an organization.
- Learn how to better understand modern data science and the potential implications for business strategy.
- Discover new courses, added annually based on market trends and employers’ needs.
- Take as long as you need to complete the 15 units required for the AMC—there’s no time limit for completion.
- Choose from in-person and online courses.
To earn the AMC, you’re required to take 15 units of executive education. At $995 per one-unit course, the average cost of the AMC is $14,925.

Certificate in Policy Strategy through WashU at Brookings
The Certificate in Policy Strategy is a unique opportunity for experienced professionals from government agencies, businesses and nonprofit organizations to better understand how organizations craft or react to policy changes. It includes seven required courses and a two-unit elective of your choice. It gives you insider knowledge to engage more effectively in government decision-making, predict likely policy outcomes, and leverage windows of national and international opportunity.

Certificate in Public Leadership through WashU at Brookings
The Certificate in Public Leadership provides you with the skills and mindset needed to lead in today’s turbulent environment. The certificate requires 15-course units, including Ethics in Action: Leading with Integrity. You may have a maximum of 5 units applied from our policy courses. Open to all US federal, state and local government employees, the program provides a network of professionals from across government who share your commitment to public service and offer a wealth of knowledge and resources:
- Develop deeper and broader leadership skills.
- Make connections with leaders from across the government.
- Engage with Olin Business School faculty, Brookings scholars and other subject-matter experts.
- Earn class credit for any WashU at Brookings course taught at your agency.
